Jennifer Hassey & Dayton Stoyan met in 2011 while volunteering their winters as ski instructors with the Canadian Adaptive Ski program, CADS. They married in 2013 and lovingly welcomed a daughter in 2014 followed by a son in 2017.

Life took an unexpected turn in late 2021 when Jennifer was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes. Jennifer dedicated the entirety of 2022 and early 2023 to extensive chemotherapy, radiation and multiple surgeries. Jennifer is eternally grateful to her beautiful family, friends and amazing team of doctors at RVH for getting her through this challenging journey. Post cancer treatment, Jennifer was diagnosed with lymphedema in her left arm as a result of having cancerous lymph nodes removed. Lymphedema is an incurable, lifelong disease that requires her to wear compression garments daily in addition to performing multiple daily therapies to help minimize the swelling and to help maintain function of her left arm.

It was when Jennifer lost all of her hair during chemo that her & Dayton realized the power of permanent makeup. When you look good, you feel good...or at least better! Although she lost all of her hair, she had the most amazing eyebrows thanks to cosmetic tattooing. It was then that Dayton & Jennifer understood how many women and men could benefit from this service, whether it be for medical reasons, over-plucking, or simply the desire to wake up with your natural looking makeup already in place.
